About Us
Maximum K-9 Obedience Training has only one goal - to give the best training and care to every animal we come in contact with, anytime and anywhere. As the Owner and Director of Training, Gayle Justice, has consistently loved animals all her life. She and her husband Walter, live in harmony and peace with 5 English Bulldogs; 7 German Shepherd Dogs; 4 cats; and 2 Moluccan cockatoos; 2 Blue and Gold Macaws; 3 African Greys; 1 Quaker Parrot; 2 Sun Conures; and 1 Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Seems like a zoo, doesn’t it? But they wouldn’t have it any other way. Over the years they have owned everything from horses to goldfish, and loved each and every one of them.
Because it is the belief that every animal has merit and a place in our world, Maximum K-9 strives to put a loving touch on every animal they are lucky to come into contact with - whether it be theirs or someone else’s. Over the years many animals have come and gone, brought in as babies and leaving into God’s open hands, now residing at the Rainbow Bridge where they await their owners. All loved and never forgotten. Some sought temporary residence while waiting for their forever home and last but not least, there are always animals coming and going while their owners are on vacation and business trips. All of them staying in the warmth of a family home where they find love and attention and new playmates.
Because of this passion for animals, Maximum K-9 Obedience Training was born, to provide the same services for animals that Gayle and her husband Walter would like to have for their animals - should the need arise.

Training is passion, Gayle instructs the handlers in training their precious dogs! Gayle has always trained every dog she has ever owned, some of which came to her aggressive with no where else to go. A kind word and a loving touch was all that was needed to turn those loving canines into obedient companions. How could they be anything else, they have to live with birds and cats and guests, lots of guests! So for over 30 years Gayle has worked with dogs, perfecting just the right kind of training. she instructs her handlers to communicate with their furry friends, to bond with the animals who share their space. But most importantly to teach the animal to think about their own behavior and present it to their handlers in an obedient manner. But the proof is in the classes, watching the dogs master simple commands in basic obedience in the very first class. Gayle is always at the heart of the class, loving each animal and handler who enter her door and eager to watch them learn the methods which will equate to an obedient companion.
